"Devon and Me" is a division of Designs By Devon, INC, which started as an accessory (wine charms!) business in 2001 by my son, Devon, who was in seventh grade at the time. A few years after that, it evolved into women's belts, flip flops, tank tops and just kept on growing. We started as a wholesale business, selling to boutiques, resorts and spas nationwide and then, due to strong demand, we began having "home shows" and trunk shows in various locations throughout Winter Park and South Florida. Our primary business is creating fun items that are sold in upscale boutiques, spas and resorts throughout the country.
IN 2007, my 15 year old daughter, Morgan Elizabeth wanted to become a part of the business and introduced our organic line of tanks and tees. We then became Devon and Me (for Morgan Elizabeth and Mother Earth!)
I am the owner of the company and a "stay at home" mom with three teenagers. I graduated from FSU in 1975 with a fashion merchandising major. During that era, most women (including me) were in college for their MRS. degree, but since that did not go as planned, I thought a merchandising major sounded like fun. My oldest son, Devon, is in his freshman year at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where he is on the golf team. I have another son, Trevor, who is a junior in high school and is also a golfer. My daughter, Morgan is a sophomore in high school, and currently plays golf too.She just wishes the clothing for golf was a little more fashion forward. (We are working on that!) My husband, Larry, was a professional golfer on the PGA Tour for 20 years, and is currently pursuing the Senior(Champions) Tour. He just started his own Real Estate Company (Rinker Real Estate.....Larryrinker.com). If anyone needs to buy or sell in the Orlando area, I am sure he would be glad to help you out!
